Official – Miller named at Prima Pramac Yamaha Factory Team

Australian secures a factory specification 2025 YZR-M1 for next year.

North Queenslander Jack Miller has formally been named on the MotoGP grid for 2025 after signing with the new-look Prima Pramac Yamaha Factory Team alongside Miguel Oliveira.

Miller, 29, will race-on for at least one more season in the premier class of grand prix racing after receiving a career lifeline of sorts from Yamaha and its incoming Pramac Racing satellite program.

“We are happy to announce that Jack is joining Prima Pramac Racing’s line-up, and we warmly welcome him to the Yamaha MotoGP group,” commented Lin Jarvis, Yamaha Motor Racing

“With 10 years of experience in the MotoGP class with three different manufacturers, Jack will be a valuable asset for Yamaha. His speed, knowledge, work ethic, and team spirit will be invaluable to our project as we plan to improve the performance of the M1 in 2025 and beyond. Yamaha will be supporting him in every way they can.”

A four-time MotoGP race winner with a total of 23 podiums to his credit, current Red Bull KTM factory rider Miller returns to Pramac Racing, in which he rode Ducati machinery with between 2018-2020 prior to being granted a factory promotion. He’s been with KTM since last season.

Upon arrival at Yamaha, Miller will have a factory specification 2025 YZR-M1 at his disposal, joining Oliveira, as well as Monster Energy Yamaha duo Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins on the latest specification machinery.
