Triple national champion Glenn Allerton will race-on into 2025 aboard Ducati machinery as part of all-new independent ASBK team, Superbike Advocates Racing.

Superbike Advocates Racing has outlined its intentions to enter 43-year-old Allerton on a Panigale V4 R in the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) next season.

Owner of Supercar Advocates Lee Khouri, who is a keen Ducati collector, is partnering with Sydney-based dealership On Two Wheels Motorsports – operated by former domestic and international racer Mitch Pirotta – to form the ASBK program with Allerton at the helm.

“At Supercar Advocates, we strive to stay at the forefront of everything we do,” commented Khouri. “Whether
it’s reviewing cars and motorcycles, building a world-class automotive collection or racing, we’re committed to leading from the front lines.”

Allerton won the title in 2008, 2011 and 2014, and currently sits eighth in the 2024 title standings as part of the GT Racing team on BMW equipment. He finished on the podium at Phillip Island’s fifth round of the season earlier this month in P3 overall.

“Very excited to start this journey with Superbike Advocates,” Allerton told CycleOnline. “It’s a unique opportunity for myself to build something for the future with the team.

“I want to say a big thanks to GT Racing team – especially Trevor [Groeneveld] – for everything that he’s done. You know, it’s gonna be difficult to leave that team, but racing changes year to year and this opportunity’s come up, so I’m very excited about the future and and what that brings on this new team and I can’t wait to get going on the on the new bike.”
