Moto3 front-runner Joel Kelso continued his strong run of form at Misano on the weekend, qualifying sixth and then going on to claim P6 in the Moto3 race on Sunday.

Kelso – who will ride for the LevelUp MTA team in 2025 – has been consistently competitive this season with BOE Motorsports KTM team and was once again in the mix at the San Marino GP.

“After a tough Friday with some difficulties, I thought the weekend was going to be an uphill battle,” Kelso said. “But we worked hard, took a gamble in Q1, and found the pace to put me at the sharp end in P6.

“It was a solid recovery effort by both myself and the team. Now, we can reflect on where to make those small improvements so we can come back even stronger in two weeks time.”

Kelso is currently ninth in the Moto3 World Championship following 13 rounds. Countryman Jacob Roulstone (Red Bull GasGas Tech3) finished 12th on the weekend, sitting P15 in his rookie campaign.
